The North Shore, which is home to Paia, Sprecklesville, and Haiku is one of the most famous wave sport destinations in the world. Paia-town is home to surfers and wind surfers because of its quaint beach town feel and location to amazing beaches. Haiku town is the gateway to tropical Maui. The area is lush and green year round and afternoon rains are not un-common. Spreckelsville’s Baby Beach is one of the area’s serene beaches that frequented by families frolicking in the placid waters created by the shelter of the reef. The North Shore is a little breezier and is a little colder than other parts of the island.
